2012 Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science

Nov. 2-3, 2012 at Washington University

Registration Deadline September 30, 2012

The URS in the Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science will be held November 2-3, 2012 at Washington University in St. Louis.  Costs for participants including transportation, lodging and meals will be covered by the Consortium.  Lodging will be at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel.

The purpose of the Symposium is to provide undergraduates from the physical sciences, mathematics and computer science fields with a venue to present their research projects and results in either poster or oral formats to their peers and some faculty.

It is important that EVERYONE presenting register.  Listing the people you are presenting with DOES NOT automatically register them.

Oral presentations are scheduled at 15-minute intervals, allowing 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions.  Poster presentations allow participants to display their experimental results on a tack board panel measuring approximately 40" square.

Registration will be open until September 30th.
