Undergraduate Research Learning Plans
April 19, 2011
Many faculty mentors working with undergraduate research students in their labs or groups use some form of a learning plan as a way to help set goals and expectations, maintain regular contact, provide guidance and accountability for students as they progress through their research projects. This webinar featured two faculty members who use different mechanisms for selecting research students, planning for their projects in the lab and guiding them through the research process. Drs David Hall and Margaret Bloch Qazi shared some of their experiences in developing and using their strategies for working with undergraduate research students. Please check out the information that was streamed on April 19th.
